Level 2: Animal Response Sheltering Course
The course was introduced in Kansas during the summer of 2017, where a group of active and experienced animal disaster response volunteers attended. Several volunteers returned to prepare as trainers for this course. The course has now been added to Day 2 of the Train Today Respond Tomorrow Workshop.

- This workshop has been added as a standard training requirement for responder volunteers
- Responder volunteers who have completed the first 8 standard training requirements will be provided a 2 year grace period in which to attend this course and retain response eligibility status (must complete by 2019)
