Originally from Attica KS, George retired from the military in July of 2001, after serving 8 years in the Marine Corps and another 14 years in the Air Force. During his career in the military from 1990 to 1996, George volunteered as a veterinary technician at Andrews Air Force working with military working dogs and pets of active and retired personnel. After retirement, George was employed by DynCorp LLC performing avionics and electrical maintenance on aircraft for the Vice President, Joint Chief of Staff, Congressional Staff. He has been working for the City of Manhattan as an Animal Control Officer since October 2007. George is a volunteer firefighter and his hobbies include family, dogs and weight training.
