Many training opportunities are available throughout the year for animal response team volunteers. Volunteers are always welcome to attend neighboring CART or regional training sessions. Please contact the team before hand to confirm your participation.
If your county or regional team is conducting a training, notify the other teams across Kansas. Posting on your Facebook page or your own team’s website are great ways to communicate that information, or contact the KSSART Unit Coordinator to have that information posted on the KSSART Website.

Documentation Is Key
Also included in the team resources section is documentation. This section is still under construction, so please be patient. Currently there is a great deal of documentation available for county teams and as these documents are converted for the website they will be uploaded for your use.
If you need documentation that you are unable to find here, or you have documentation your team currently uses which can be beneficial to other teams please contact the Unit Coordinator at email@example.com.
Staying Informed on Developing Situations
The CodeRED Mobile Alert safety app delivers real-time emergency, community, missing person and severe weather alerts to users within the area of impact. Alerts are initiated by public safety officials. As a responder it is a good idea to stay informed. Click here for more information on the app for your mobile device and to verify if CodeRED is used in your area.
Support from Other Organizations
